16/09/2025 - On September 16, 2025, we had the honor of welcoming the Head of BRIN (National Research and Innovation Agency), Dr. Laksana Tri Handoko, accompanied by the Head of the Research Center for Electronics and Informatics, the Head of the Research Center for Energy and Manufacturing, the Director of Research Utilization in Industry, the Deputy for Research and Innovation Facilities, and the Deputy for Research and Innovation Utilization.

We were immensely proud to showcase several of our research activities, which were demonstrated directly before Dr. Handoko and his delegation. What made the moment even more special was the opportunity for our young research engineers to engage in direct discussions with the BRIN leadership team.

During the visit, Dr. Handoko extended an invitation for collaboration in ICT and Energy research. BRIN’s two research centers in these domains—located in Jl. Sangkuriang, Bandung, and Puspiptek, Serpong—were highlighted as the most relevant partners for future joint initiatives.

He also introduced a collaborative academic program that enables our research engineers to pursue Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) degrees “by research”, based on their ongoing projects in Lido, Bogor. The program is supported by full BRIN scholarships, with academic degrees conferred by selected universities.

The atmosphere was filled with optimism and pride—it truly felt as though the nation itself was present, recognizing and appreciating the dedication and innovation we have worked so hard to achieve..
